The first thing to do, is to make sure that your Instagram is set up as a "Professional" account. If your account is just a "personal" account, you won't be able get a Partnership Ad Code.

Next, select the post, story or reel that you want to turn into a partnership ad from your Instagram profile.

  1. Tap the 3 dots

    more actions

in the top right corner of your post, story or reel.

  2. Tap Partnership label & ads.

  3. Turn on the Add partnership label toggle.
Note: You can stop a code from being used to create any new ads by turning the toggle off. Any active ads using the code will continue running.

  4. The Brand will receive a notification that you're requesting to add them as a partner. They'll approve the request and then you'll be notified once accepted.

  5. The code will appear. Tap Copy to save it to your clipboard or tap Share to send the code in a direct message to your partner and/or your 1stCollab support member.
